The Best Places to go Clubbing in Cartagena
1. Misti-k Club Cartagena
Another high-quality salsa area, the Misti-k Club, is much more of a bar than a club, but it is still open until midnight and is a dance floor, so it is cut.
It’s just inside the historic walls of the Old City and is a really cool place to have quality rum during the day if dancing isn’t really your cup of tea. However, if you want a taste of the old-school Cartagena, Misti-k Club is the place to go for a night out.
2. Discoteca Farándula Disco Club Cartagena
Discoteca Farándula DiscoClub is a nightclub with an of crossover and electronic music never seen in Colombia. They comply with the highest codes and standards of quality in all stages and services such as sound and lighting, dancers, national and international artists, food, and drinks.
Another Cartagena clubbing center – which opened its doors in 1979 – Quiebra-Canto is the third Holy triumvirate of Gethsemane clubs completed by Cafe Havana and Bazurto Social Club. It’s another salsa club, but this one is more focused on professionals than any of the previous ones.
3. Taboo Disco Club Cartagena
Opening seven nights a week until 4 am, Taboo Disco Club is the Cartagena clubbing center currently. It doesn’t really start until midnight, so don’t expect to get a lot of air early in the evening, but when the clock strikes midnight, you’re in for a couple of hours of fun.
Always packed with a beautiful mix of locals and outsiders, Taboo Disco Club is another great place to go to find traditional music videos smaller than Bazurto or Cafe Havana, as well as a more modern clubbing experience.
