Black Dolphin is a cocktail spot in Kansas City for an amazing experience. Nice, relaxing evening at Black Dolphin. It’s a small but mighty little jazz club in the Crossroad district. Black Dolphin is down to earth and simple. It’s a nice jazz and cocktail bar with live music every day. Black Dolphin is a true Kansas City gem! A more relaxed and spacious alternative to the green lady lounge.
Black Dolphin features a decent host at the door; perfect relaxed atmosphere for either a date or just to hang out with friends; more than enough options as far as cocktails to choose from as you enjoy the great music being played; state-of-the-art lighting & sound system; outstanding wait staff with attentive, friendly and professional service; perfect combination of great jazz in the great setting; classy chill ambiance; cool band; easy to find street parking; strong & tasty drinks that are reasonably priced – vast selection of drink choices; clean and easily accessible restrooms; old school vibes; nice friendly people; really beautiful decor; great service; amazingly great acoustics; nice vibe with a talented band playing smooth jazz music; plenty of comfy seatings – all seatings are angled toward the stage, focused on the musicians; outstanding performers; and decent prices.
Black Dolphin is definitely one of KCOMs best jazz and cocktail lounges. Highly recommended venue to be when you had a stressful work week. Go here on the weekend, order a drink and get lost in the blues. Just an absolute blast of the place.
