They arrange events every week and drink specials on Friday and Saturday nights. Thursdays might not be conventional drinking days, but the 90’s kid in me loves DJ Hollywood’s 90’s rock playlists for “Thursday is the New Friday.” Dos Gatos is Jacksonville’s original cocktail lounge. This is one of Jacksonville’s earliest cocktail bars and should be on anyone’s list of places to visit if they want to experience the city’s nightlife. Dos Gatos offers a variety of drinks as well as a normal menu. The Senor Extravagante is Dos Gatos’ version of the Negroni or the Fresh Air, created with its private-label tequila. The Red Dawn is a twist on the Moscow Mule, and the Raspberry Lagerita is a beer-and-cocktail hybrid.
