Durty Nelly’s is an Irish Pub on the San Antonio RiverWalk. The pub opened on September 11, 1974. Durty Nelly’s Pub is a replica of the original Durty Nelly’s in Ireland, dating back to 1620, as part of the Bunratty castle in Limerick, Clare County. It has been part of the landscape at Bunratty for almost 400 years, and today continues to be “favourite” watering hole of both the locals and visitors alike. This is a true Irish Pub complete with flights of whiskey and beer, and Irish coffee.
Get to Durty Nelly’s Irish Pub, have a pint and sing along with some new friends. The pub is designed in the tradition of the European style with two fireplaces, slate floors, and stone walls, and from the time its doors first opened to present day, this corner is a hotspot on San Antonio RiverWalk. They really know how to connect and get the patrons involved in the music. The staff are very pleasant and prompt. The pub also features a great fun-filled atmosphere, amazing music that interacts with the crowd, top-notch service, super friendly & attentive bartenders & servers, nice vibe, great live music, fun piano player, great outdoor seating, delicious food, and great tasty whiskey. They have tremendous piano entertainment with lots of audience participation.

Durty Nellys may be the closest thing to a genuine Irish Experience anywhere on the RiverWalk San Antonio. See you soon there. When in San Antonio the Riverwalk is definitely worth seeing.
