Felipe’s Taqueria Boston, Guide & Review
Family-owned, Felipe’s philosophy on food and drink is simple: no cans, no bags, that’s our commitment to you. There is fresh and then there is Felipe’s fresh. In April 2004 Tom Brunch and Felipe Hererra founded Felipe’s Taqueria. Since then, Tom and Felipe have been satisfying hungry customers in Harvard Square with delicious Mexican fare. Felipe’s philosophy for good food is simple: ingredients should always be fresh and the recipes authentic. Felipe’s Taqueria experience can be summed up in three words: Fresh, Fast, and Friendly. Everything we make – from the hand-squeezed key lime margaritas to the traditional guacamole to the various complimentary salsas – is prepared in small batches, guaranteeing that it is served at the peak of freshness. When you come in you will likely find lots of smiles, happy guests enjoying a quick meal, and Tom or Felipe offering friendly Mexican hospitality with the same passion we have for delicious Mexican food.
Cooking on hardwood adds exciting authentic flavor to our proteins and salsas. Using a special blend of maple, oak, and hickory, we maintain the perfect cooking fire throughout the day. Try our grilled chicken, steak, or vegetables the next time you order to experience the delicious character of hardwood. Looking to book a private event at Felipe’s in Harvard Square? The spot is an amazing venue to host private events or parties from graduation parties, wedding parties, birthday parties, and other special parties.
Felipe’s Taqueria features excellent Mexican tasty food with an abundance of taste, large portions, a takeaway menu, cozy atmosphere, classic cocktails, stylish interior, chic decor, child-friendly, awesome staff with super top-notch service, awesome ambiance, and a variety of drinks that are reasonably priced. Great place with excellent burritos and extra strong margaritas – they also have really good queso and guac dip! I personally like the spicy margaritas and the Burritos are not to be missed. Highly recommended! See you there tonight!
