Garage Passyunk New Jersey, Guide & Review
Neighborhood watering hole hole showcasing beer and cocktails in casual digs resembling an auto garage. Funky throwback sports bar in the Italian Market neighborhood of Philadelphia, right between Pats & Gino’s where 9th St and Passyunk Avenue intersect. A classic bar with a garage door that is rolled up when the weather is nice, a long bar with stools, and some tables along the side. They allow you to bring in food which makes this bar perfect with the kings of steaks right next door. Do the steak challenge and bring it to the garage so you can have a beer or 6!
Nice clean bar. Garage Passyunk operates Monday through Friday from 5 pm to 2 am, and Saturday & Sunday from 11 am to 2 am. Garage Passyunk features great friendly, attentive & professional bartenders; plenty of TV’s to watch a sports game; good vibe; chic decor; delicious cocktails; awesome music; awesome crowd; delicious food; lovely relaxed atmosphere – large garage door opening made for a really great atmosphere; great beer selection; pool tables; and delicious cocktails. The bar itself is really long so there’s plenty of places to sit. The inside was up to date and modern, staff was really friendly, and they had every beer imaginable. Great selection of tasty beers, sure to satisfy and beer drinkers choice. Always a solid option for a place to have a good time. A few classic bar games (skee-ball, pool, pinball) combined with an enormous can beer selection, and the local game is always on.
What a dive bar feels like. There’s a security guard at the door to check ID’s. Definitely recommended if you’re in town during a football game. Great place to watch the Eagles game. Great place to grab a bite, get a drink, and cheer your Philadelphia sports team to victory. It’s a nice place to chill and hang out with your friends.
