Good Digs, Brotherly Love. It doesn’t get much better than the original Good Dog Bar in Philadelphia. With three stories dedicated to good food, good times and good dogs – plus some good old-fashioned competition in their third floor game room – their Philly bar is located in a 100-year-old building that’s been a local watering hole since Prohibition. Operating since 2003, Good Dog is smack in the middle of Center City. 

Good Dog Bar features delicious food; efficient and prompt service; amazingly great and wide beer selection – decent selection of craft beers; friendly, diverse & lively crowd; delicious cocktails; great music; good dog salad; great outdoor area where dogs are allowed; great vibe; plenty of comfy seatings; lots of TVs to watch your favorite game; clean & classic ambiance; and super friendly and accommodating staff. Everything at Good Dog Bar is tasty and delicious. 

What a great spot for lunch near downtown Philadelphia. It’s a diverse, fun and unpretentious bar. This place definitely never misses the mark. Really unique bar & restaurant in Center City! The whole bar pays homage to dogs, and they do it in a fun but not cheesy way. The place is pretty large (3 floors), and they have a great beer selection, solid food, and a very reasonable happy hour selection. Definitely a place worth checking out!
