Excellent dive bar! Bar with no-frills decor, shuffleboard, darts & a patio serving up burgers, wings & other pub eats. A fun place to go that has a neighborhood dive feel. Nice local bar with a good pub food menu. Helen’s JAD is definitely a superior dive bar in Kansas City.
Helen’s JAD operates Monday 4:00 pm – 1:30 am, Tuesday through Thursday from 4:00 pm – 3:00 am, Friday 4:00 pm – 3:00 am, Saturday 4:00 pm – 3:00 am, and Sunday 4:00 pm – 1:30 am. Helen’s JAD features delicious food; really cool bartenders; great wings & pizza; great parking lot; friendly, attentive & accommodating staff; great crowd; great excellent service; great beer selection; warm & dively atmosphere; strong & tasty drinks that are reasonably priced; big TV screens; great selection of craft beers; and plenty of comfy seatings. Darts, Golden Tee and shuffleboard along with a patio.
