O’Dowd’s Gastrobar Kansas City, Guide & Review

O’Dowd’s Gastrobar is a great Irish pub in Kansas City. Pints & bar food in a warm, woody space with authentic details brought over from Ireland. If you want a nice laid-back outing Sunday evening is good if more action is what you seek Friday & Saturday night is more action. The venue is pretty cool. Decent but nothing really stood out as spectacular among our goat cheese, burgers, sandwiches, or salads. The cheese fries were pretty good.

O’Dowd’s Gastrobar operates Monday & Tuesday 4:00 pm – Midnight, Wednesday to Thursday 4:00 pm – 1:30 am, Friday 4:00 pm – 3:00 am, Saturday 12:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Kitchen closes at 9pm 7 nights a week. O’Dowd’s Gastrobar features incredible atmosphere; nice vibe; superb delicious food; friendly, attentive, and accommodating staff – their waitress is amazing with lots of helpful information for some out-of-towners; awesome nachos; great upstairs patio; awesome ambiance; great Irish pubs; giants TV’s everywhere to watch your favorite game; awesome great DJs; strong & tasty drinks that are reasonably priced; and great happy hour. 

It’s so nice having a spot like this on the plaza. The rooftop patio is a must if you want to vibe into the night. It’s a very warm and comfortable space in Kansas City. Highly recommended checking out O’Dowd’s Gastrobar for an amazing experience in Kansas City.
