Planters Tavern Bar Savannah , Guide & Review

Located in the basement of the much-respected Olde Pink House, Planters Tavern stands out as a great place to have a drink and enjoy live entertainment. The building itself – a luxury 18th-century Georgia city that was built as a residence and later became Georgia’s first bank – is steeped in history, and many real features still exist, among them exposed brick walls and beautiful fireplaces. The cozy bar has a good selection of wines and cocktails, and sponsors may order food from the prominent menu of Olde Pinke House. On any given night, Planters Tavern brings together a pianist to entertain the crowd, and the singers often join the bill to sing jazz levels.

Built on the ground floor of the 1771 Olde Pink House with old brick walls, large fireplaces, and a talented musician/pianist, the tavern is one of the best places to enjoy live Jazz in the city. Pair cool sounds with Southern food like shrimp and grits or crab soup, and you’re ready for a perfect night out.

Adjacent to our historic Savannah hotel is the Olde Pink House, one of the most popular restaurants in Savannah. Visitors to the Planters Inn have the unique opportunity to enjoy the delicious food of the Lowcountry restaurant in a sophisticated yet unusual one of the only 18th-century Savannah houses or have dinner in a comfortable and secluded setting for their guest’s room. Either way, it is a compliment you should commend. Dine indoors or outdoors; live nightly entertainment.
