Sea House Restaurant Bar Maui, Guide & Review
Opened in 1963 as Tea House of the Maui Moon, Sea House Restaurant was renamed in 1985. It is a landmark restaurant located on the crescent-shaped Napili bay. The restaurant is famous for its sunset views, comfortable ambiance, and great staff. In recent years, the restaurant has updated its menu with a contemporary fusion in its dishes and drinks.
It has received accolades for its pau hana happy hour and delicious pupus.
The ceiling of the place is hardwood with bamboo tabletops. These are divided by glass that is designed in such a way that it looks like waves in the ocean. A lava rock wall runs throughout the length of the dining room. Many tourists come in the daytime after spending some time in the sun to have a pineapple rum, Mai Tai, at the bar. Happy hour starts at 2 pm, and more tourists drop by then. You might even have to wait to get a seat.
Music sessions go on from 7 to 9 pm, and you can go for a nighttime dip in the sea afterward. Their fishers bring in the catch early in the day, along with farmers who come by with their fresh produce. This includes passionfruit, apple bananas, and Haden mangoes. It really cannot get any better than this. The menu has a wide variety of dishes that add a touch of Hawaii to the famous pre-existing ones.
