Soulmate Los Angeles, Guide & Review
Soulmate is a modern restaurant in the heart of West Hollywood drawing inspiration from the Spanish Mediterranean and showcasing Southern California’s best local ingredients over a live fire, where chef Rudy Lopez crafts a menu of inspired dishes that emphasize Southern California’s seasonality. Cool, casual, beautiful space with a retractable ceiling and helpful staff. Hip option with terrace offering Mediterranean shared plates, salads, & seafood. The menu is full of delicious, shareable tapas-style plates like chicken croquettes, tomate toast, and paella bites, but whatever you do, save room for the basque cheesecake at the end. It’s light, fluffy, and the perfect way to wrap up a meal before heading out on the town.
The bar experience, taking its cues from the restaurant’s open-air layout, designed by Sean Leffers interiors, features a diverse list of vibrant cocktails imbued with flavors from local herbs and fruits. Soulmate’s extensive wine list boasts a robust selection of sparkling options from vintage and grower champagne to varieties from emerging winemakers, offered both by bottle and glass. The setting is absolutely beautiful. It almost feels like 3 restaurants in 1. Soulmate features great vibe, chic & modern decor, amazing music, great exceptional service, amazing ambiance with an amazing courtyard in the middle surrounded by trees and dimly lit, really nice natural light, great wine list, valet parking, lively but sexy atmosphere, great interior design, delicious food, and tasting menus – well-priced and wonderful. The drinks are made just right, the perfect balance of flavor and alcohol.
What a gorgeous restaurant with an atrium feel and a great experience. Great restaurant for a date night or a special occasion! Trendy and fun spot with a Mediterranean focused menu. The experience at Soulmate’s is flawless.
