Stonewall Daytona Beach, Guide & Review
Welcome to Stonewall Bar, a great bar where pride was born. Gay bar & National Historic Landmark, site of the 1969 riots that launched the gay rights movement. Since 2007, they’ve been a staple in the LGBTQ community as an inviting and exciting venue to experience the best nightlife scene Orlando has to offer. They offer different theme nights every night of the week with something for everyone. Since 2007, they’ve been slinging drinks, hosting fabulous theme nights on the regular, serving delicious food, and providing an accepting space for all to enjoy. As an all-inclusive LGBTQ bar, we take great pride in being the premier nightlife venue where everyone can go as they are. A friendly venue for an afternoon cocktail in a friendly atmosphere. The bar is pretty spacious and it’s a historic place, no doubt about it, yet with a warm and inviting environment with a modern feel.
Their multi-leveled space is filled with innovative areas to be enjoyed like their Sky Bar with beautiful views of Downtown Orlando, Main Video Bar with state-of-the-art lighting and sound system, and Meat Market Patio where you can lounge and enjoy the wonderful Florida weather. The fun doesn’t stop there, as each night of the week they feature various themes and events like movie night, open mike, karaoke, Fur/Fetish night, Circuit nights and more. Most importantly, they create a community that will make you feel loved, accepted, and involved. This place is absolutely fantastic, and of course dripping with history. Stonewall features super friendly staff; strong & tasty drinks that are inexpensive; warm & relaxed atmosphere; electric crowd; state-of-the-art lighting and sound system and plenty of comfy seatings. They often have shows or events in the upstairs section.
This is an absolute must-go place for any LGBTQ + people who are interested in the history of LGBTQ + rights in the US. It’s a perfect spot in the west village to hang out with friends. Overall a must visit if you’re a local or a visitor.
