Taste of Tops is near-downtown Temple bar that is known for its wine and craft beer selection. It’s also quite cozy, with a popular couch and comfortable bar seating. Taste of Tops is conveniently located next to a well stocked liquor emporium, offers an appealing blend of upscale ambiance in an unpretentious neighborhood bar setting. The Temple bar features a rotating tap of craft beers, as well as an impressive selection of hard-to-find beers. Taste of Tops regularly hosts wine and beer tastings, making this a favorite stopping point for local beer snobs and discerning happy hour goers. Taste of Tops features 30 rotating craft taps, 1000+ bottles/cans of craft beer, 20 by-the-glass wines, and 1000+ by-the-bottle wines. The bar is old school and dim, and is great for pulling up the next strangers and striking up conversation pretty much any time they are open. The bar also features a huge beer selection, cozy, relaxed, almost intimate atmosphere, deem lights and low to ground couches, curious mix of paintings on the walls, good service, super friendly & helpful staff and bartenders, excellent lounge vibe, great music – great classic rock,  and reasonable prices. 

Taste of Tops operates Monday – Thursday 9:00 am – 11:00 pm, Friday & Saturday 9:00 am – 12:00 am, and Sunday 12:00 pm – 12:00/am. The attached liquor store has a big wine selection, and you can purchase any bottle next door and have it uncorked.
