Inspired by the world-famous Jungle Cruise, Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki bar has mystery, romance, and adventure for you. With ingredients from places like Polynesia, Amazon, and more, the drinks are brewed with unique elements that come together from around the world. The bar also has many trinkets and souvenirs the owner collected while traveling. Open all seven days of the week; you can bring your children with you if you come in before 8 pm. You cannot, unfortunately, spend more than 90 minutes here, so absorb all the place has to offer. 

The food menu is heavily inspired by Hawaiian cuisine and offers seafood and traditional menu items. There are poke bowls, octopus, raen, cheeseburgers, and much more! The drinks section includes ‘Uh-Oa!,’ ‘Sea Monsters Embrace,’ ‘Shipwreck on the Rocks,’ and ‘Zombie .’Uh-Oa! Includes Bacardi Superior rum, Myers’s original dark rum, juices of orange, passion fruit, guava, pineapple, grapefruit, falernum, cinnamon, and fresh lime Juice. With various flavors that will pack a punch with each sip. You can also get a non-alcoholic drink, wine, or beer, if that’s what you prefer. 

The decor is very kitschy, with weird-looking animal sculptures and wall art scattered throughout the space. The tiny space is filled with photographs, and you can see the Krakatoa from the window. There’s a story behind each piece inside, and however many times you go, you will find something new and fascinating each time. The seating is limited to around 50 people, and the servers will run around all the time. You order three special drinks, which will result in some surprise theatrics. We will not reveal the names to you, so be prepared. If the place is less rushy, the bartenders might mix you with a concoction that’s not on the menu!

8. The Bruery Bar Anaheim

The Bruery Bar AnaheimA boutique craft brewery that offers all sorts of craft ales for you to try. The Bruery has been running since 2008 and is a family-run business. The founder, Patrick Rue, had a thirst for exploring new techniques and flavors that he could brew in beers. He then gathered together a fantastic team that shared his passion, and here they are to date. The inspiration behind each experiment comes from all around the world. They focus more on taste rather than style. Their inspiration varies from junk food to fresh ingredients to the culinary world. 

They claim to change the way you think about beer. It goes with food, brings everyone together, and you wonder how they did that after one sip. Membership will ensure you get a chance to taste one of these as they are made in smaller batches. There’s a tasting lounge/room available as well that you can get for a group of friends who are beer fans. Their beer list has 40 draft options and about 50 beers to go. You can buy beer from them as well. They have bottles and cans just for you!  

They have food truck partners switching weekly: Tacos Victor, The Philly King, Fairy Foodmother, Rolling Sushi, and more. So you have a variety of options to pair up with your beer. There’s an outdoor patio for you guys to find a seat at. The decor is modern, with lights hanging from the ceiling. You can look through the beer archive compiled on their website. It shows all sorts of beers you can filter by choosing the taste, barrel age, and style, among other options. 

7. The Phoenix Club Bar Anaheim

Opened up in the 1960s initially, The Phoenix Club aimed to preserve what was left of the German culture in Anaheim. They celebrate the Oktoberfest here every year. This gathers all aspects of German civilization under one roof and is open to Germans and non-Germans both. They have food, drinks, games, and language activities here. Contests like the shooting range plus activities for kids are also available here. 

The restaurant is open five days a week. Many Angels and Ducks fans get together on game days to cheer for their team. The club had over 5000 members at its peak, but they seem to be reducing in numbers as people grow older and move away. It is still very dear to those who are left here. You can play games, eat and host events on whatever scale. Many weddings are hosted here as they offer to seat over 350 people. The Bierstube is the German pub here. It’s cozy, relaxing, and offers you peace of mind. It is a popular spot amongst locals and tourists. The bar offers German bottled and draft beers, German wines & spirits, and domestic beer & wine. There are also traditional dishes like Schweineschnitzel. Breakfast is also offered on Saturdays and Sundays, and the place is open from 10:30 am to 8 pm. It’s open from 11 am to 8 pm Wednesday through Friday.  

There are a variety of dishes available, from small plates to soups and salads to sandwiches and German specialties. Grab a beer or a glass of wine to go with your meal and make it a fantastic day out. Grab a seat by the bar if you’re alone or at one of the tables if more people are with you. 

6. Bayside Brews Bar Anaheim

There’s an excellent selection of beers, ciders, and some tasty margaritas for you to try. You can order an authentic Michelada. You can never go wrong with it. Their alcoholic beverage menu includes ‘The Golden Road Mango Cart Wheat,’ ‘Pacifico Cerveza Clara,’ and ‘Ballast Point Grapefruit Sculpin IPA .’They’re priced at an average of $12, and you will enjoy each sip you take. If you’re one for non-alcoholic beverages, then pick one of those. You can have a plain old pretzel or one with cream cheese or jalapeno cheese filling. Wouldn’t that be a delight to take a bite out of? 

The place looks inspired by the circus with colorful decor on the front. There are blues, reds, oranges, and all the colors that bring more life and character to the bar. There’s seating outdoors while yellow lights are hanging all around the place. You can enjoy the place on your own or with a group of friends and family. There are four different performance venues under one roof here. The restaurant offers delicious food and drinks. Primary acts of music will take place in the 2200-person main hall. Another hall is there mainly to be rented for more exclusive events. A Dj also performs here now and then. 

The menu is very Southern-inspired, and so is the place itself. The interior is modern and industrial, with art from around the world displayed everywhere. The whole space itself is divided into room-like areas. Blue and red lights illuminate the space while Tvs are put up on walls all around. The Foundation room is only for VIP members. Imagine a nightclub with private performers, DJs, its bar, and much more. It’s expensive with leather plush couches with a sensual flair added by the performances. 

There are bars on both sides of the main bar. A second-level balcony surrounds the whole space for more seating and a view from above. The stained glass windows reach high towards the ceiling, creating a mix of contemporary and old-school decor. There are barbeque nachos, voodoo shrimp, jambalaya, baby back ribs, and a wide variety of burgers for you to choose from. You can grab a lime pie, bread pudding, or a brownie at the end of your meal. You can also get drinks with your meal like ‘Memphis Blues Sangria,’ which consists of red wine, brandy, and fresh juices. The ‘Strawberry Field’ has a mix of Captain Morgan spiced rum, Disaronno amaretto, strawberry, passion fruit, mint, and lime.

4. Heat Ultra Lounge Bar Anaheim

The place has two rooms, a VIP section, and some cool indoor and outdoor patio smoking areas, making it a famous spot for a fun night out. 

From business meetings to special birthday parties or anniversaries, you can book this place for a smooth and hassle-free experience that you can enjoy as the host. They even customize the food and drinks menu according to your hosting event. Audio and video options are available to accommodate you if you require them. The place is divided into two rooms. One plays EDM while the other plays hip hop. You can choose the room you want to be in according to your taste in music. The place is open only on Fridays and Saturdays, from 9:30 to 2 am. There’s a cover charge of $20 usually, but it usually goes much higher on event nights. Many Dj nights are scheduled for the weekends. You can visit their website and choose a day accordingly. 

The drinks menu has vodka, rum, whiskey, tequila, cognac, scotch, gin, magnum, and champagne. With around a hundred drinks in these categories, you have many options to choose from. Whether it’s a celebration or a formal meeting, a little party never hurts anybody, so have a memorable night!

Look at Buena Vista Street’s fantastic views while you sit and dine at Carthay Circle Lounge. The exterior and interior transport you to the Golden Age of Hollywood. The menu itself is divided into acts which are categories. There are vintage lamps and furniture, leather seats, and earthy tones that transport us to another century. Photographs of celebrities and stars of the era are displayed on the walls. 

A bar, community table, and a few separate tables are scattered across the room. You can reserve a table here as it is usually very rushy and a table is hard to find. The cuisine is Mediterranean-Californian, as they describe it. Act one of the menu has shrimp spring rolls, duck confit empanadas, twice-cooked beef tacos, and many more options. Act two has pasta, fish of the day, and a lamb dish. Act three is for desserts like sundaes and pies. There’s a separate kids menu as well. Get their chilled watermelon skewers if you’re here on a hot day. They have the perfect balance of sweet and tangy flavor. You can also try out the hot shrimp, deviled eggs, or Moroccan lamb meatballs. These are a hit here.

In drinks, there is one of the best’ Manhattan’ offered by any place in the area. With Bulleit rye, small batch American whiskey, Carpano Antica sweet vermouth, angostura bitters, and luxardo gourmet maraschino cherries served with an ice sphere. The ‘Scotch Mist’ is Walt’s drink of choice – Johnnie Walker black label scotch with a lemon peel served over crushed ice. Although their prices are a bit high, the place is worth it!

With the DJ playing eclectic music, bartenders preparing incredible drinks, and you vibing on the dance floor, the night couldn’t have gone any better. Located at 1233 S Brookhurst Street and open from 9 pm to 2 am, you’re bound to have a good time here.

The place is known for its signature cocktails, each of which is as good as the other. A few famous ones are the ‘Sangria’ which is a red or white wine with a seasonal fruit making it fresh and refreshing, and the ‘Tequila Spa,’ which has tres sites tequila, red grapes, and lime. Another one of their most requested drinks is the ‘Pretty Girl,’ vodka with blackberries, lime, and soda. Your experience at the NV Lounge and Bar gets even better as they offer bottle services and VIP seating so your group can have a private time away from the crowd. A 200-inch screen lights up the dance floor and the neon lighting, enhancing the ambiance. If you prefer, you can enjoy their rooftop seating which is perfectly set with a beautiful view.

The view here is stunning during sunset and becomes even more spectacular if you see fireworks at night. You can customize the menu if you’ve booked the place for an event. The events include Dj nights, Taco Tuesday, Trivias, Wine Down Wednesday, and comedy nights. The place is open Tuesday to Saturday from 5 pm to closing. 

From craft cocktails to artisan dishes, there’s a lot of fantastic stuff on the menu. Sit around the fire pit with a loved one on their couches and sip on your libation while enjoying the view. Get the buffalo shrimp or the calamari to nibble on while you wait for your drinks to arrive. From flatbreads to nachos to pasta and tacos, there’s something for each of you. You can also get sharable plates like sliders, mozzarella sticks, and tacos. Their drunken donuts are a must-have. They have filling options like tequila lime, orange liqueur, or coffee liqueur.

The drinks have fun, quirky names like ‘Sammy likes Peaches,’ ‘Blame it on the Tres,’ ‘Attitude Adjustment,’ and ‘Have had Bitter Days,’ amongst many others. Some of these are seasonals. The regulars like ‘Blame it on the Tres’ have a mix of Tres Agave Reposado tequila, lime & grapefruit juice, simple syrup, and creme de framboise. Whatever table you’re seated at, you will get a great view of the whole area, so do drop by sometime!
