The Freeman Cajun Cafe & Lounge Bar Dallas, Guide & Review

Considering that Deep Ellum’s historical roots are in jazz and blues, one of the city’s leading jazz venues should be here. Discover jazz, blues, funk, R&B, swing, Dixieland, and more seven nights a week and Sunday afternoons. Then at 10 p.m., the music changed to everything from one rock to another, punk and hip hop. Expect to see gigs at the likes of Shawn Pittman; Three Months of Fasting; and The Freeloaders, their leading artist who became the band’s owners. In addition to sweets, you will find an integrated list of great offerings, think as cheese, pans, salads, and delicious crepes. The influence of Big Easy is not limited to music, the restaurant also features New Orleans-inspired cocktails and a full repertoire of Cajun grub. Best of all, most shows are free.

Recommended for Jazz Clubs Because Free Man is so popular that some artists just hang out here if they don’t have a gig. If you are looking for a cozy place with a low-key, Chocolate Secrets will take the cake. Just make sure you arrive early, especially on weekends when accommodation is limited.

Free Man offers a Happy Hour from 4-7 p.m. Monday-Friday with $ 3 draft, $ 3 sources, and an interesting selection of half price.
