The Mad Duck Bar Fresno, Guide & Review
The Mad Duck is often best described as a sports bar that meets gastropub. The food at this bar here is delicious and is usually served late into the night. The Mad Duck, like many of the Fresno bars, has an extensive beer list, but you should really try their home-brewed Mad Duck beer before you order anything else. If you aren’t normally a beer drinker, try the house-made sangria.
They wanted The Mad Duck to be a pub. It’s an American pub with great food, great beer, and great cocktails. We believed that making great food took just as much work as making bad food. The difference is pride in your work. It was a simple idea, but it’s something we believe in. It was a constant that pushed us. It’s still that simple principle that drives us. Be proud and be happy in everything you do.
Owned and operated by Alex Costa and friends, The Mad Duck opened its doors to the general public in 2010 and is known for its American pub food, craft beers, and unique cocktails. The restaurant has a trendy decor with spacious interiors with an airy atmosphere reminiscent of a pub. Customers usually prefer to come here with a group of friends and colleagues to watch their favorite sports on large LCD TVs. It has a small outdoor terrace for customers who want to dine al fresco. Mad Duck has a chef-driven menu. Its highlights are one-handers, ale lines, crazy burgers, craziness, really crazy burgers, and desserts. A full bar offers freshly brewed California-style craft beers and a wide selection of cocktails. The Mad Duck is a place for families and friends. A place to gather and enjoy: food, beer, and most importantly, each other. A real neighborhood pub.
