One of the best kept secrets in all of Kansas City. The hidden gem of Kansas City. Great local spot with a spectacular view of downtown. It’s an excellent little bar that serves brunch and lunch all day. It’s a cool place with an amazing view of downtown from the patio. What a great place in Strawberry hill. 

The Mockingbird Lounge features delicious & creative cocktails; neat interior design; delicious biscuits and gravy, egg sandwich, and eggs and hash; killer drinks; awesome garden with the view of the city; great vibe – vibe sometimes turns totally around at night with DJ and totally different vibes; delicious appetizers; awesome happy hour; great beer and wine list; fun, friendly, attentive, professional bartenders; city views from its rustic patio; nice people – everyone is so nice they make you feel at home; so many choices of local beer and liquor; relaxed atmosphere; stylish interior; outstanding service; great delicious food; great DJ who plays good music; awesome live bands; and demure interior – perfect for a date or spend the afternoon day drinking on the outdoor patio. The design is a mix between modern and electric. Great place to relax and have a drink. The patio is a great place to bring the dog and enjoy the evening. Staff is always cool and the location is cool.

Great Brunch menu and specialty drinks along with beers on tap and bottle. Mockingbird has quickly become my family’s favorite lunch spot in Kansas City.  Highly recommended checking out The Mockingbird Lounge for an amazing and unforgettable experience with your friends or on your date out.
