The Nickel Mine Los Angeles, Guide & Review
The Nickel Mine is the first US project of MST hospitality group. The Nickel Mine was opened in 2016, bringing life back to this gorgeous neighborhood. They created every single project – from a huge restaurant to a huge restaurant to a local bar – investing a lot of souls, ideas, inspiration, and talent. This is an excellent place for West LA residents to meet up with their SF Valley friends because it’s right off the 405 at the bottom of the Sepulveda pass. The Nickel Mine is a philosophy of loving food, everything beautiful, delicious and delightful, but most importantly – a philosophy of loving people. It’s this philosophy that makes The Nickel Mine bar exceptional. The bar is unique, yet recognizable all together.
The Nickel Mine features dim lighting, amazingly delicious food, a variety of fantastic strong drinks, dark wood, comfy leather sofas, excellent professional & attentive service, a sizable whiskey selection, hip atmosphere, stunning happy hour running from 5pm to 8pm, nice vibes for sports nights, tons of TVs to watch your favorite sports, great table/board games, open wall of windows which make it super comfortable, exposed brick making the spot a relaxed and refined bar feel a world away from the big city. It’s also a great place to go with your friends or alone. The bar is situated in a convenient location.
Highly recommended spot in Los Angeles. Great place to watch sports as they have lots of TVs and two mega screens that actually work and are HD. Sports selection is fine as is the quantity of TVs. Outstanding! If you are ever anywhere near Westwood you must go to Nickel Mine.
