Are you looking for a great sports bar in Kansas City? Look no further than The Social Bar & Grill. The Social is a neighborhood bar and grill located at 13410 W 62nd Terrace, just minutes away from the historic downtown Shawnee. They recently moved to this location after being at another location in Shawnee for over 9 years now, as they opened in April of 2012. They love this community because it’s not only about the food and drinks they provide, but rather the relationship they build in the process. They do run with very small staff that gives a much more personalized feel throughout your time there. They’ve some excellent daily food and drink specials and have entertainment on the weekends. 

The Social Bar & Grill operates Sunday through Wednesday from 11:00 am – 12:00 am and Thursday through Saturday from 11:00 am – 2:00 am. The Social Bar & Grill features a great and a very personable service; lots of TVs to catch up with your favorite game; plenty of comfy seatings; state-of-the-art lighting & sound system; chic decor; stylish interior; great live music; great friendly crowd; delicious food; strong & tasty drinks that are reasonably priced; and friendly, attentive and accommodating staff. 

The Social Bar & Grill is a standard Midwest bar, leaning slightly more towards dive bars. Nice spot to go for fun and friendly crowds even as a total stranger flying solo. The staff is great and it’s easy to frequent this spot as one of the newcomers. Cool plaid and laid back. Highly recommended checking out for an amazing time watching your favorite game.
