The Tap Room Pub and Grub have Local craft beers, fresh oysters, and food daily. We have always loved the TAP room. So, it’s our go-to for yummy oysters. Jennifer is the best! Highly recommend yummy food, good service, and a fun time! Great place to have a drink and grab a bite. Last Friday, my friend and I had a great time. What I love about this spot is its customer service. She was very attentive. I would highly recommend this place. Please do go check it out if you’re in the Modesto area. I’ve been coming to this place for a couple of years, and the service and food are always excellent. The staff is kind and friendly, and the service is always fast. Even when they’re busy, they acknowledge you and tend to you as fast as they can. 

Their special was a grilled chicken melt sandwich with bacon, lettuce, tomato, onions, cheese, and a fantastic Garlic Aioli. They toasted the French roll and melted the cheese. So, everything on this sandwich was excellent. I had a few different side choices and selected the garlic fries. These are one of the best I have had and are not too oily and have a perfect amount of garlic. This is a full bar with several beers on tap. I decided to have the blood orange here by SLO Brewing, another great choice on a 106-degree day. I will be back. While sitting there, the Philly cheese sandwich looked terrific, as with the mini tacos. It looked amazing, a large waffle and two pieces of fried chicken. 

Yes, I definitely will be back!! It’s a small place, and I consistently see the workers bust their asses to give their best service! It can get hectic for them, and they may have an occasional moment, but generally, the staff is top-notch, especially Alex, Mikayla, and Ashley! Food is always on point, and their beer selection never disappoints me! Alex was amazing. The food was so good the chicken won a ton of tacos. Yum. The Carne Asada fries are yum. Our server was Trent & he was not great at all. He took our order & poured our 1st of 3 drinks. Other than that, he played dice with a customer at the bar & didn’t do much. I asked Alex if he was the owner because he seemed invested in the place, worked hard & had the best customer service. He deserved the tip we gave him.
