Toad Hall Bar San Francisco, Guide & Review

Welcome to Toad Hall Bar, your number one choice. Stop 7 days a week and enjoy live DJ’s, music videos, dancing, a full bar of great cocktails, beer, and always great prices! We offer a large dance floor inside with a full bar, seating and booths – plus, an outside patio for smoking and mingling complete with its own bar. Regular Drag events, Karaoke, dance competitions, beer busts and more make Toad Hall a good time any day of the week. With video DJs and Top 40, meet friends on the dance floor or covered outdoor patio. Toad Hall is Badland’s flirty little brother; just across the street. With better music and a less messy crowd than sister bar Badlands with the same amazingly stiff and cheap drinks.

The beautiful Bar was named after the home of Toad in the classic children’s story Wind in the Willows, Toad Hall was one of the first gay clubs in the Castro. It’s run by the same management as Badlands, another Castro classic. The 2-1 cocktails from Monday through Friday until 8:30 make it one of the best deals in all of San Francisco. And on those rare but delightful warm San Francisco evenings, the outdoor patio is a great place to enjoy those cheap drinks. If you only have time for one club and want to get a sense of the Castro, make it a Toad Hall night.

Toad Hall is famous for its happy hours in the neighborhood of Castro. Opened in 2009, it has a rose-colored water feature that is the backdrop of its bar, flat screens, low light fixtures, red couches, a dance floor and a patio. You can either enjoy drinking inside or at the bar on the patio outside. It is a popular hangout for young male clubbers.
