The Maverick is a lively nightclub offering live Country music, dance lessons, American shows and happy hours. It’s one of the oldest country western bars in Tucson. It happens to be a modern honky tonk with a spacious dance floor where you can take a lesson in two-stepping, enjoy toe-tapping live music from county artists, and grab some bar eats in between.
The food at Maverick is a great deal and delicious, drink specials too are of great deal, servers are attentive and friendly, there are pool tables at the venue, awesome line/country dancing to watch or partake in, great dance floor, awesome dance lessons, favourable prices, awesome people watching and diverse crowd.
Tucson Line Dancing is a dance Club and Nightclub and it’s renowned performance and event venue, sports and recreation venue. Line Dancing is a great way to burn a few calories, meet new friends and the kind of friends that know how to have fun.
If you are looking for something to do on Wednesday night, where you can meet new friends, here you are at Maverick county dancing Club in Tucson. Good fun & Exercise. If you enjoy line dancing, Maverick County dancing club have classes on Wednesday and they play line dances towards the beginning and end of transitions. If you enjoy two step; it goes on every night of the week, and is predominant style. On Fridays beginner lessons, intermediate lessons every Saturday, Tuesdays and Thursdays you will have better luck coming with a dance partner.
This is a safe place to ask people to dance. If you aren’t getting asked it’s usually because people don’t know you dance, so you need to take initiative and then other dancers will begin to take notice. Mellower dancing Tues/Thurs and before 10pm. After 10pm on Wed/Fri/Sat they play more upbeat tunes and the dance floor gets a bit wilder. Salsa, Cha-Cha, Waltz, East Coast Swing, etc. They play some of these songs for these styles each night. The classes are excellent and not intimidating. They apparently have some good concerts. Line Dancing will definitely put a smile on your face. So true! Just have fun!
