Viridian San Francisco, Guide & Review
Are you looking for a unique spot in San Francisco? Viridian bar is the place to be. Viridian represents a vision of creating a design-centric space for innovative craft cocktails, contemporary, local farm-driven food, elevated desserts inspired by Asian-American nostalgia. Viridian’s fluid and airly space is designed by Anna Lee and Brandon Jew of Soon and Soon Studio, Michelin-starred Mister Jiu’s Moongate Lounge, and Mamahuhu. Driven by modern culinary technique with Northern California influences, their food, pastry, and beverage programs are led and created by Michelin industry veterans. Viridian is, hands down, the best cocktail bar and has the best staff in the Bay.
Viridian concept draws inspiration from the color moods of Chungking Express, the city of Hong Kong, and graphic elements from 90’s R&B record covers. The team behind Viridian boasts a bevy of deep industry ties and Bay Area roots. Viridian features delicious food – the food menu, presented by Chef Kevin Tang and Executive Pastry Chef Vince Bugtong, includes savory small dishes and unique desserts inspired by the Asian-American experience. Electric wine list – this is inspired by Master Sommelier, Andrey Ivanov, of Bliss wine imports. The program is designed to mirror Viridian’s ethos of being environmentally conscious, innovative, classic handcrafted cocktails, diverse, and approachable. Viridian also features excellent service, fantastic delicious food & drinks, super nice vibe, amazingly great ambiance, and beautiful interior decorations. Overall, a really fun place to go with your friends or on a date night out for an amazing experience in San Francisco.
