Voltaire is a rustic-contemporary space for wines & bistro style New American fare with an international touch. Very upscale feel, but not pretentious at all. . A top-notch restaurant focused on quality and creativity, and not pomp. A great place to have drinks, conversations, and unwind. Voltaire is a hidden gem in the Kansas City Bottoms. One of the best bars and restaurants in the city. Possibly the coolest place in Kansas City. A surprise to find in Kansas City. Voltaire has a vintage to it. 

Voltaire features dark lighting perfect for romantic dinner; extremely friendly, attentive and welcoming staff; cool music; decent prices; great relaxing atmosphere; awesome happy hour; stylish interior; great ambiance; excellent service; awesome sound system; and great brunch on Sundays; ample parking; laid-back location; delicious drinks; awesome DJ. The bartenders are all knowledgeable and can make something to suit your palate or liquor preference.

Possibly the only place in Kansas City that knows how to make a Ramos Gin Fizz. Exceptional drink menu. Voltaire is highly recommended for an amazing experience in Kansas City. There is always something low key, hip and interesting happening at Voltaire. Definitely an enjoyable experience. Overall pretty great! It’s highly recommended to check out in Kansas City.
