Dead Poet Nightclub, Baton Rouge, Guide & Review
Dead Poet Nightclub is a poem honoring great poets whose lives adorned us with their blood, sweat, and tears – leaving a lasting legacy. Located within walking distance of LSU’s Tiger Stadium, the dead poet is a leading nightclub and the main entertainment venue. We offer live entertainment, a bottle service, and a private event venue. Life imitates art, and night in a dead poet is no different. We want sponsors to bring together memorable events, such as poems woven together by poets who are no longer on our walls. Hold on to your friends, save half, and let the winds shake you. They show off their fun offerings at sophisticated events and a beautiful theme that pushes the boundaries of what most people in Baton Rouge are accustomed to. Local amenities include a VIP section, their event stage, and a nearby 40-foot bar.
Dead Poet Nightclub is a much-needed addition to the Baton Rouge downtown area. It is actually a two-part bar with a top bar and a lounge with a few TVs. Great place to hang a fun hour or night to watch a game. Downstairs is a long bar and a dance floor. They have beautiful zydeco bands/swamps coming in to play. It makes for good nightlife. An interesting note is that the city area can have a band cover charge, but you can go up to the top without a cover. There is live music almost every night that includes genres such as blues, rock, and dance. There are lots of chairs in the house, but there is also a big outdoor balcony ready to relax with friends while you enjoy a drink and listen to some great music.
