Tazmania Ballroom Hong Kong, Guide & Review
Planning your trip, pay attention to Lan Kwai Fong and remember to choose where to eat: this bar is right beside the mentioned place of interest. Many visitors mark that the staff is competent here. Good service is a strong point that plays a great role for the success of Tazmania Ballroom. You will certainly like the cool atmosphere. Tazmania Ballroom is the sister venue to Hong Kong’s ultra-exclusive nightspot dragon-i and Cassio which has retained its reputation as the coolest lounge club in the city ever since 2002. Located on the first floor of Lan Kwai Fong Tower in Hong Kong, Tazmania Ballroom quickly grew into Hong Kong’s favourite place to party for upscale party people.
Buzzing lounge with swanky, modern decor offering cocktails, DJs, pool tables & an outdoor terrace. Design is pretty nice. You can dance, play pool and they raise them on the ceiling someday during the week to put a ping- pong table. Good music also. Enjoy!
Inspired by fond memories of a British boarding school and college in Canada, the interior of Tazmania Ballroom reflects images of the dark, smoke-filled venues Gilbert frequented as a student. With high ceilings, pool tables, spacious dance floor and a terrace for the usual Central after work suspects of bankers, models and socialites.
From the bronze mirrored staircase entrance, guests emerge into a dark, decadent and at the same time stylish and glamorous space with an elevated DJ booth, a pool table area, a long bar and an outdoor terrace. The interior walls feature geometric diamond buttresses to the cavernous ceiling on one side and plaster floor to ceiling bookshelves on the other. And while the gold-plated pool tables continue as a major drawcard, they are also magically raised to the ceiling revealing a great dance floor or ping pong tables.
