The Balcony Club Boise, Guide & Review
The Balcony Club is a Gay Bar, Dance Club, Performance Venue, Event Venue, and Nightclub located in Boise, Idaho. The dress code at this nightclub is casual, but that does not mean it should be your target. You should aim high for greater rewards! We recommend that you should dress to impress. A full-fledged bar is available at the scene that takes care of patrons’ and their alcoholic needs. Patrons are provided beer, cocktails, and special drinks. The music played at this venue falls under the category of these musical influences: Electronic Dance Music, Hip Hop Music, and Pop Music. The Balcony Club offers one of Boise’s best dance and nightclub experiences. Boise Weekly has been named the Best Local Dance Club for over ten years in a row. They have the hottest staff, DJs playing the latest music and videos, great lights, open dance floors, and the best customers in town! Anyone over the age of 21 is welcome.
Audiences at the Balcony Club on February 11 had already stood up while drag queen Nikki Grim was showing off Britney Spears’ Gimme More. It also included Strong mashups, but Nikki was heading towards the end. Switched things: instead of her wig, she pinched a large exposure, shook the scissors, flew by black lingerie, and with her real hair lock that sprinkled the stage at the end of the routine. The audience exploded like a bomb. “What I want is to make sure the show is the best possible. If I leave a part of myself on stage, I’ll leave it alone,” she later said. Told. “And I do it every time I go on stage.” Boise’s next drag superstar, MC Denim Cain, presented her with white high-heeled shoes at the end of her Nikki performance. This is a coveted honor from a stunned jury. Nikki joined BNDS in 2018 and was early excluded from the competition. Last year, she said, “I got enough [judgment feedback] to build her personality and kill her on her stage.”
The BNDS, which ran on Sunday until March 24, will be in its third year under new control. The theme expanded from camping, burlesque, open sex to politics, with 14 queens competing for a VIP trip to RuPaul’s DragCon and several small awards awarded during the contest. One Queen, Deputy Squig Bourne, appeared as President Donald Trump, chasing her across her stage. She finished her striptease with a pair of backup cast members who drove her away with her tan spray.
