Packery Bar and Grill

Packery Bar and Grill is the newest addition to Padre Island! Fantastic scenery, great food, cold drinks! Packery Bar & Grill is in the Texas county of Nueces. South Padre Island Drive is the address, and the street number is 13402. The phone number to contact or inquire about the location is (361) 226-4351. More information is available on their website. Packery Bar and Grill may be found using the coordinates 27.6344469-97.2369904 in navigation software. Come spend the day swinging at Packery Bar and Grill. With a chilled drink, live music, and excellent vibes, enjoy the panorama overlooking the Laguna Madre! This is one of the Island’s newest bars, with a beautiful terrace, swings, and even Chicken Poop Bingo.

This is a large bar with a great view. The bar is unique with swing seating, and it’s covered but leads out to the dock. There is another seating area above with a great view. There is a food truck that has a good reputation. I had street tacos, and they were delicious. I’m told the burgers are big and tasty. Wonderful new bar! I love the location and swings—excellent service and drinks. I love music. So, last night was fabulous. I hope they expand their food offerings soon. I will be back over and over for sure! I went to this location. Excellent location. The crowd appeared to be a bit college, but it was OK. No beer on tap was available then, which was sad, but the bottles were reasonably priced. The swings at the bar were excellent! I’ll have to look into it again.

This location was fantastic. The excellent environment is something to die for! They are making changes to the top deck to make it much more enjoyable. The crowd was diverse in age, and it was an enjoyable experience; I will return. They have excellent service and bartenders. It was fantastic. More personnel are required, but progress is being made. There’s a lot of music on this busy Saturday afternoon. The crawfish and shrimp quesadilla was delicious. I enjoy drinking in the ocean, and this area even has swings! Those bartenders are working hard and looking great! So, this is one of the best bars Corpus Christi has to offer you. If you are in the city, we highly recommend visiting this spot at least once. Go with your family, friends, or loved ones!

Rockit’s Whiskey Bar & Saloon

Rockit’s Whiskey Bar & Saloon is a bar & dance hall with a diverse live-music lineup, including blues, reggae & soul & open-mike nights. This is one of Corpus Christi’s coolest and most famous hangouts, giving a late-night bar experience unlike any other in town, and is ideal for those who want a leisurely drink or five in a friendly Texan setting. The inside has a pleasant ambiance and plenty of comfortable outside seating on the patio for guests to enjoy a smoke and fresh air. Local artists offer live music at Rockit’s every night, creating the ideal nighttime atmosphere to relax and enjoy the bar’s creative cocktails, delicious beers, and extensive whiskey collection. The original Dr. Rockit’s Legendary Blues Bar opened in 1989 and was a landmark music establishment in Coastal Bend.

The partners of Brewster Street Icehouse and Concrete Street Amphitheater bought Dr. Rockit’s lease in 2015. So, these partners took over the property and significantly improved its exterior appeal and entertainment services. Rockit’s Whiskey Bar & Saloon reopened in April 2015 with a broader range of events, entertainment opportunities, and a historic yet modern beverage menu. Their goal at Rockit’s Whiskey Bar and Saloon was to create a casual but upscale, comfortable, entertaining, and inviting environment. They think they hit the mark! See for yourself. The Launchpad is Rockit’s newest addition, with a wall dedicated to living music memorabilia! So, the Launchpad offers a diverse selection of specialty drinks and rock-and-roll-themed shots.

It’s an excellent location for taking off. The Barrel room is ideal for groups and parties with a lot of space and a fantastic view of the stage. Pool tables, an old shoe polish station, plenty of large screen TVs, and tables fashioned from vintage whiskey barrels can be found here. The Whiskey Room, which is half whiskey room and part concert venue, is where you can see all of the top local and regional bands live in concert and sample their vast range of high-end whiskeys. Rockit’s Beer Garden is located in the back of the restaurant. Live music is performed outside every Friday and Saturday night, and there is an additional bar. Exciting updates to the space are on the way! Rockit’s Whiskey Bar & Saloon offers a free happy hour every Friday – will this Friday be your lucky day? So, this is one of the best bars that Corpus Christi offers.

House of Rock

House of Rock is an event space & saloon for live music, local art, foosball, pool & video games. House of Rock is one of the city’s premier live music venues, bringing in local and regional bands from various genres to entertain music enthusiasts when the sun goes down. Bands frequently play on Wednesday and Sunday nights, and the club has a variety of themed nights throughout the week, including an open mic night on Tuesdays with musicians, comics, and poets performances. People may also order delectable nibbles from the kitchen, such as lemon pepper wings and freshly baked pizza, which can be washed down with the bar’s enticing array of cocktails (which serves some incredible local IPAs too). Whenever I travel somewhere new, I wonder, “Where do the natives hang out?” House of Rock is the place to go.

This Rock bar in the middle of downtown Corpus Christi provides everything a resident or tourist may want. It’s like an extension of your living room if only you were more relaxed and had a better musical choice. The bar (21+) and restaurant (all ages) are open daily and charge no, whereas the bigger event room has a cover charge. House of Rock has become a downtown Corpus Christi institution. It’s a little divey, but that’s the flavor of the place. They have fantastic concerts of many types, it’s a perfect space for private occasions, the staff is always friendly and chill, and their pizza is delicious. Go there for lunch, go there for happy hour, or go for an event or show at night. The staff was excellent and friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxed. The food was not so good, the pizza tasted store-bought and cheap.

I’m surprised by all the comments here about how good the pizza is. None of the food was worth it, in my opinion. The bottom line is if you’re looking for some tasty treats, this isn’t the place. If you want to have some drinks and chill with friends with music and snacks, I think you’ll be alright. The waitstaff was lovely, and the food, especially the dessert, was delicious. The music is always fun and lively. So, House of Rock is one of the best bars Corpus Christi offers you. It is a unique live performance venue as well. If you are in the city, we recommend you to visit this spot at least once.

Lazy Beach Brewing and Cafe

My favorite location to spend the evenings is Lazy Beach Brewing, a local brewing firm. This is a beautiful thing to do in Corpus at night, whether I’m catching up with friends or striking up a discussion with a stranger. The brewery, which began in 2015, specializes in small-batch beers. Join them for a lazy afternoon of delicious, small-batch beer in their coastal beach town. They create the beer they want to drink, from Texas Bock or Hard Kombucha to an Imperial Mint Chocolate Stout. With one new beer each week, they have room to play. Grab a flight or pint! Be lazy, be happy. Since the taproom debuted in June 2015, at least one new flavor has been added every week! With 15 beers on tap, three Hard Kombucha varieties, and a hard seltzer, they have plenty of room to experiment.

Every Thirsty Thursday, a fun run from the brewery is held. Put on your running shoes and go for a stroll or run. At 6:30 p.m., we depart from the large grass field on Yorktown, heading toward Bill Witt Park and the Bear Creek Trail. You can run one mile or five! Let’s sweat together, whatever your choice is! Meet their Brewing Team! This collection of hooligans comes from diverse backgrounds, and everyone brings their own set of thoughts and abilities to the table. They are rather fond of them. Please don’t be bashful if you encounter us around the taproom; they enjoy talking it up! Cory earned his B.S. in Computer Science from Texas A&M Corpus Christi and is usually found near the flowing beer taps.

Then he threw it all away to establish the brewery with Jess. He began his brewing career with the Big Kabrewna as two typical home brewers. His employment has changed throughout the years, and no one knows what he does on a typical day. Keep your kombucha-most hidden. While Jess is still around, she earned a B.A. in Theater from Texas A&M Corpus Christi and taught middle school before beginning the brewery. She now entertains customers with her humor and unique brew combinations. Jess may be seen participating in the brewery’s fun activities and handling the little Beaches. Drew, their Texas Bock’s father, performs all the hard grain lifts. His title came naturally with over ten years of brewing experience and a love of catching waves. Don’t be fooled: even when he’s sweating profusely on a brew day.

Flanagan’s Downtown

Flanagan’s Downtown is Corpus Christi’s hidden treasure for cold beverages and fun moments, where you may bring your loved ones or meet some new ones. Flanagan’s, a delightful small sports bar in downtown Corpus Christi, serves unique local brewers like this delicious Lorelei beer, your standard beers, and a full liquor collection with some particularly unusual alternatives to choose from! The bartender was charming and wore a mask for those concerned, but as a guest, it was not required, so you have the option!!! If you’re in the neighborhood, you won’t be disappointed! This bar was established in 2007. Flanagan’s Downtown has been a staple of Corpus Christi bars since 2007. They aim to provide great drinks and good times in this fun and eclectic setting for you and your friends.

We’re looking forward to you joining them for your next big night out. Step inside for frequent drink deals and a bar seat with your name written. Flanagan’s service is excellent, and we’re happy to have some of the greatest bartenders in the neighborhood ready to prepare your drink and do it well. There is something for everyone at this spot, and there’s never a cover charge. Enter and enjoy yourself. There will be a live DJ on weekends from 10 am to 2 pm. Their acoustics are excellent, and the music is enjoyable. Hungry? Step outdoors to try one of the food trucks serving various dishes. Flanagan’s Downtown is happy to welcome you to their unique and eclectic world for beverages, music, and good times. They’ll be seeing you shortly! Among their DAILY SPECIALS are the following.

SIN-Day (Service Industry Night) on Sunday: $2 wells, $2 domestic bottles, and draughts, $2 Tito’s, and $3 Bloody Marys and Mimosas. Wear your work shirt and receive a $1 Bud Light Draft and a $1 Well. Every Monday, all varieties of Ciroc Vodka are $3. Tuesday: $2 Pints, $2 Jack, $2 Fireball, $1 Cruzan Rum Flavors. Saturday: $4 Patron/Grey Goose/Jager Bombs. So, this is one of the best bars Corpus Christi has to offer you. If you are in town, we highly recommend that you visit this spot at least once. Go with your family, friends, or loved ones for a memorable time.
