The Limelight is a venue that is famous for its parties and live music events. The venue has hosted many international acts such as Oasis, Two Door Cinema Club, Steve Aoki and Arctic Monkey. The place has been divided into four different areas including the event hall with the latest technology in lighting and sound. There is also an outdoor terrace that is equipped with a fully-stocked bar.
Voodoo opened in 2011 adding another element of excitement to the city’s nightlife. It has also added diversity to the music scene of Belfast. The club covers two floors with an intimate seating area and bar at the bottom. The upper floor is the venue which exclusively plays hip-hop and RnB. Comedians, live music acts also grace their stage from time to time.
Plastik, or formerly El Divino, is one of the largest nightclubs in the city of Belfast. It is also home to Ireland’s biggest Saturday club night, known as Different Gravy. The club has three floors, with different genres of music playing on each. The bottom floor plays RnB, hip hop and dance, the middle floor plays funky house and disco, and lastly, the top floor plays club and trance. Just choose the type of atmosphere you want and travel to that floor.

Thompsons Garage is the type of club that attracts people from all over, but especially music lovers. This is because the type of music playing in this club ranges from dance to EDM. Moreover, this club has been open for almost 20 years and is open every night of the week, making it a popular spot amongst people. The drinks in this club are also quite cheap, making it popular amongst students.
The Kremlin is a club that’s hard to miss. Mainly, because of the life-sized statue of Lenin that resides above the entrance. This club was the first-ever gay club in Northern Ireland and opened in 1999. Moreover, this club is also still quite popular in Ireland. The club is spread into three separate categories, Tsar the cocktail lounge, Long Bar, and disco bar, and lastly, the red square which is the main hub and hosts a variety of live performances and DJ nights.
