The Best Places to go Clubbing in Lyon
1) L’Ambassade Lyon
L’Ambassade Lyon is one of the best underground club house on the peninsula with electro, house and garage sounds. Club is located in 4 Rue Jacques Stella, Lyon and it is certainly a place people visit and return to when they want to finish the evening in style.
L’Ambassade became the ultra central place that is frequented by aspiring party-goers in their early twenties that typically storm the club around 1:30. The nightclub is not very big and there is a certain selectivity at the entrance but the hushed atmosphere and the “baroque trendy” decor give you the impression of being at a chic evening.
2) Club Le Ménestrel Lyon
Club Le Ménestrel Lyon is commonly referred to as „MNSTRL“, you would think its a typo, is a well-known night club in Lyon. It is located in 17 quai Romain Rolland and it represents a real institution of the night, a place where party never stops. Whole nightclub was recently renovated and the interior now looks amazing with modern mirrors that decorate the walls, stylish furniture and large open space that is perfect for dancing.
Bar now stretches all along the smaller room and it is decorated with beautiful LED lighting that gives it a warm upscale look. The Menestrel Club is open from Wednesday to Saturday 23.00 to 07:00, and it is located in Old Lyon close to the metro & parking which is always convenient.
3) THE BOAT Lyon
THE BOAT Lyon became a nightclub a few years ago when an Australian ship, launched the anchor overboard and the crew decided to stop over in Lyon with the intention to convert the population to Surf and Rock’n’Roll culture, it remained in the heart of the city of Lyon facing the Hotel Dieu with its magnificent view of the Cathedral of Fourvière, ever since and it became a go to place for partying until early morning with great resident DJs and an exciting atmosphere.
The Boat is truly an idyllic setting that will create unforgettable memories for you. It is a multi-functional place that has outdoor bars, finger food in the summer and a great view for you to enjoy while sipping a cocktail with your friends.
4) Azar Club Lyon
Azar Club Lyon is a nightclub, that opened its doors to visitors in early 2018 and since than it became the most prominent clubbing destination in France. Night club is located in the heart of the Confluence district of Lyon and it represents a hybrid concept, stage dedicated to international musical stars, contemporary elegant and intimate.
Azar spreads over 1500 m2 on the ground floor (with mezzanine) of the beautiful building of the architect Rudy Ricciotti which ripples along the Saône, 52, quai Rambaud.
The decoration by Fabrice Bolenor (Sud Design) is enhanced by the state of the art technology, sound and light system never seen in Lyon. The club features a large terrace and a stage that can be privatized at the beginning of the week, and will complete the event offer Rooftop 52.
5) Loft Club Lyon
Loft Club Lyon is located in the heart of the 7th, it is very easy to reach and find, you won’t miss it because of its characteristic grey panels on the exterior with words “LOFT CLUB” engraved in them. You can go out with confidence thanks to public transport that is nearby at all times.
Loft Club exists since 1997 and throughout all these years it is going strong, it has been revamped recently, and it is a place of choice in the landscape of the Lyonnaise party scene over the years. All because of its warm and exciting atmosphere, nice and polite staff and a beautifully decorated cozy interior.
