1. In the Valley Philadelphia

2. Charlie Was a Sinner Philadelphia
This vegan restaurant is worth a trip to Philadelphia alone! Charlie Was a Sinner bar features Vegan cafe/bar dishing up creative, plant based small plates & drinks in sexy dark environs. It’s located on 13th street, Philadelphia, United States. Top-notch! Super flavorful! Favorite ever vegan restaurant, not even NYC has lace like this one. This place is packed all the time.
3. Brauhaus Schmitz Philadelphia
A must stop on Southern Street! Brauhaus was born in the year 2009 and has revived the city’s love affair with its German heritage and introduced a whole generation of Philadelphias to the foods of their forefathers. Brauhaus Schmitz operates Monday – Wednesday 4:00 pm – 12:00 am, Thursday – Sunday 12:00 pm – 12:00 am. The rooftop bar is also an awesome event space from birthday parties, graduation parties and other special parties and events. Great location and very easily accessible near historical sites.
4. National Mechanics Philadelphia
Cool rooftop bar in Philadelphia. Great place to relax after a hot day of sightseeing and enjoy a glass of wine or one of their ice cold beers. National Mechanics is a casual eatery in a former bank building serving American fare amid quiz nights and other events. For years National Mechanics has been a staple of Old City and has housed Philadelphia’s favorite bar. Their warm antique-like feel makes National Mechanics bar similar to the city itself; a fresh mix of old-world form and new-age function. National Mechanics operation hours are Monday & Tuesday 5:00 pm – 10:00 pm, Wednesday & Thursday 5:00 pm – 12:00 am, Friday 5:00 pm – 2:00 am, Saturday 10:00 am – 2:00 am, and Sunday 10:00 am – 10:00 pm.
5. The Continental Mid-town Philadelphia
One of the most fav places in Philadelphia. Three full stories of fun awaits you at the Continental Midtown. It has a cool rooftop bar and electric seating with awesome scenic views. Whether you’re relaxing in the lounge, swinging in a basket chair on the jet-set mezzanine or taking in the night along the airy rooftop patio, it’s a total reprieve from the expected.
6. Monk’s Cafe Philadelphia
Monk’s is another rooftop bar and gem in Philadelphia. Monk’s cafe is in a never-ending quest to bring their guests the finest beers in the world. Their bottled beer list is well tended and stored under optimum conditions. World-class beer emporium and restaurant open for indoor dining and takeout. Monk’s is a Belgium-inspired restaurant serving hard-to-find beers on the tap or by the bottle. Eat their acclaimed burgers and mussels.
7. North Third Philadelphia
A great neighbourhood bar! This is one of Philly’s best kept secrets. North Third rooftop bar is located at 3rd and Brown Street in the Northern Liberties neighborhood of Philadelphia. It’s a creative new American bar fare, including wings, in a dimly lit space with mismatched decor. This place is low-key from the outside and has a very singular collection of art/artifacts on the walls and ceilings. Having lived for years this spot is quickly becoming a rediscovered gem!
8. Lark Philadelphia
Lark, a new concept by James Beard Award Finalist and Top Chef Winner, chef Nicholas Elmi. The menu spotlights sustainable seafood, craveable seafood handmade pastas, heritage meats, local vegetables, craft cocktails, and a thoughtfully curated wine list with elevated options. Six levels up from sister restaurant the Landing kitchen, lark’s expansive rooftop space is marked by its light wood tones, bronze accents, plush forest-green fabrics and foiled wallpapers.
9. Stratus Philadelphia
Great spot for an enjoyable outdoor evening experience. Stratus is the ritzy rooftop nightspot at the Hotel Monaco and offers views, gourmet bar bites & cocktails. With lush green walls and plush leather couches, Stratus provides that not all bars are created equal. In order to form a more perfect evening, they invite you to join them atop the city of Brotherly love. This bar is on top of Hotel Monaco just next to Independence Hall. Great upscale Miami/Cali vibe in Philly. It’s a pretty classic hotel rooftop lounge, with lots of low white couches, and it has one of the best views in the city.
