1. Gatlinburg Brewing Company Gatlinburg
Gatlinburg Brewing Company is a locally owned brewpub offering craft brews on tap & artisanal pizzas in a bright, upbeat atmosphere. This is a cozy bar scene with good music and great service. Nothing quite as nice as drinking fresh beer with fresh mountain air in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains. Treat yourself to some fine craft brews and excellent brick-oven pizza at Gatlinburg Brewing Company. Their awesome location allows you to sit and sip and people watch to your heart’s content. After spending the day at Dollywood, you need to relax and have some local beer and pizza.
2. The Fox & Parrot Tavern Gatlinburg
The Fox & Parrot Tavern was born on September 9, 1998 when Brian pulled, and then served the first of what would become many, many pints of beer. At that time, the Tavern building was still under construction, and beer was served in the Papworth Photographic Gallery. Originally planned as the expansion of the Gallery, the Tavern building quickly became a two-story building due to the slope of the property.
3. Tennessee Homemade Wines Gatlinburg
The founders of Tennessee Homemade Wines are local Gatlinburg folk, rooted in the deep family tradition of Tennessee sweet wine. They use fresh fruits, local craftsmen and southern hospitality to make and sell the best sweet wine in the Smoky Mountains. Visit Tennessee Homemade Wines for free wine samples and an atmosphere reflecting the way of life in the Smokies. They sit right at the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains and they were raised in Appalachian traditions of hospitality and heritage. Why not stop in and enjoy both! Their wines are made to be enjoyed by everyone, local or visiting. They set out to produce the best sweet wine around through the use of their local recipes and their winery that brings the taste of the south from Gatlinburg straight to your bottle. Stop in for free wine tastings and samples. They’re open seven days a week. If you’re looking for their famous southern sweet wines, free wine tasting, and some southern hospitality, then their locations in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains are worth your visit.
4. Blue Moose Burgers & Wings Gatlinburg
Very popular place, for good reasons. Blue Moose is Pigeon Forge’s only family sports grill that has been a best kept secret by the local residents for years. Blue Moose serves a variety of casual American fare from the juiciest angus beef burgers, award winning jumbo chicken wings in 16 different flavors, hotdogs, salads and ice cold beer. Blue Moose’s inviting atmosphere and 20 flat panel televisions, make it the “spot” to catch all the games. Blue Moose is located behind Carino’s Italian and Bullfish Grill. Located right off the Parkway in Pigeon Forge, in The Great Smoky Mountains Dining District. Pigeon Forge’s only family sports grill has been a best-kept secret by the local residents for years.
5. The Roaming Gnome Pub & Eatery Gatlinburg
The Roaming Gnome Pub & Eatery is an unassuming strip-mall tavern featuring American pub grub, sports on TV & a vast beer selection. They opened spring 2007 and are always looking to make people feel at home. They offer a full menu from open till 2am everyday, including the “greatest” mouth watering cheeseburger in the country. They’re known for having the largest food portions but not the largest price. Fun, laid-back informal Irish pub with the best happy hour around, exciting menu, wide range of adult beverages, and vibrant nightlife.
