1. Royal Sushi & Izakaya Philadelphia

This is hands down a favorite restaurant in Philly. A moodily lit Japanese pub with drink-friendly fare & a chef’s sushi counter in the back. Venue is dimly lit and cool.  It’s open for dine in and take out Tuesday – Thursday 5:00 pm – 10:00 pm, and Friday & Saturday 5:00 pm – 11:00 pm. A Japanese whiskey bar completes the space, where some 30 sake bottles are available.

Pizzeria Beddia is a pizza destination known for its daily pie specialities served in tight quarters.
