AURA is a fashionable event locale situated at Paradeplatz in the heart of Zurich. Spread over 2000 m2 on three floors, AURA sets a new standard for cuisine and cutting-edge event technology. In addition to a restaurant, bar and smoker’s lounge, AURA features a 450 m2 event hall that opens its doors as a nightclub on Saturday evenings.
At AURA, “celebration” means first-class entertainment. Our elegant event hall features an impressive nine-metre-high ceiling. Its crowning glory is a 360° projection wall onto which high-resolution images are seamlessly projected all the way around. The visualizations move in perfect sync with the rhythm of the DJ’s music. A unique technology in Switzerland, eight high-performance projectors provide incredible picture quality playing up to 48 HD videos in parallel. A 360° sound system with 80 speakers – 70 of which are “invisible” – complements the outstanding visual elements with superb audio technology.
The AURA Event Hall can accommodate up to 500 people and is ideal for dazzling parties. The ambience created by our stylish lounge design will please even the most discerning guests. Just a few steps from the event hall are the bar and a smoker’s lounge, where guests can satisfy their every whim. The extensive cocktail menu and an excellent cigar selection leave nothing to be desired.
Upscale place with smoking bar upstairs. The food is very very good and try steaks with a side order of truffle marinated potato.. absolutely amazing! Five star place ! Fun for the occasional big splurge night out. Fun dance vibe and good for spotting the wealthy meat market in their natural habitat
Nice restaurant right next to the canal. Good steak and fish dishes for dinner as well as some delicious desserts. So don’t forget to ask for the dessert menu. Very friendly staff. A good place to end the day in a relaxing way.
