Mother club is an old school club night for our disco loving LGBTQ+ family & their friends that was designed and brought forth in June 2010. The door policy is over 21. Be sound & be yourself. You are welcomed to join the Mother DJs each and every Saturday from 11. Our annual Pride Block Party takes place every June at the National Museum of eire , Collins Barracks, In 2019 we launched our first lgbtq+ music festival, Love Sensation at the Royal Hospital Kilmainham.
Recently listed under “top five clubs in Ireland” within the Irish Times, Mother is arguably one among the simplest house parties on the block that takes place every Saturday night in Copper Alley, Exchange St, Dublin. Conceived in June 2010 Mother is an old fashioned club night for gays and their friends, where the main target is on music and good times instead of fancy shows and pretentious lighting effects. Our own Dj’s Ghostboy and Kelly Anne Byrne hastily carved out Mothers sound to be a combination of synth pop/electro with a dabble of disco. The club has played host to a plethora of local and international guests, including; Shit Robot, Optimo, Rory Phillips, JD Samson (Le Tigre, MEN), Austra, LCD Soundsystem and lots of more.
Mother, the Dublin club which hosted the most important Pride party in Ireland and therefore the successful LGBT+ festival, Love Sensation, is moving its weekly club night residency to Lost Lane in the capital. Mother club has access to a full stage setup that enables them to add favorite live acts to the shows. Club nights, pride block parties, live shows and festivals. We’d love to see you at Mother Club and you will experience an extraordinary encounter.
