Pata Negra Condesa Mexico City, Guide & Review
Nominally a tapas bar, this oblong salon draws a friendly mix of 20-something chilangos and expats. Live Veracruz-style son jarocho bands perform on Saturday, while the program during the week usually features jazz, salsa or funk music. Happening bar/nightspot for cocktails & pub grub plus DJs & dancing in a casual space.
After dinner drinks on Saturday night and fun night are all that describe the Pata Negra Condesa. They have a great selection of drinks. The music is great and everyone will certainly be grooving to the DJ’s tunes in a cozy and busy place!
The cocktails are awesome. Great music and ambiance. The bar is wide and a perfect spot for singles. On the second floor there is usually live music, ready to start “la fiesta”. Fun place to go for salsa dancing on Wednesday’s and a great place for fun and dancing with friends any other day of the week too! It’s good to get here after 12, to avoid crowds, occasionally they have good bands live and a lot of people dancing.
