A Video of 8 Below Munich
8 Below Munich, Guide & Review
8 Below is an underground club where you can dance electronic music and independent. Frequented by young alternative place. Every Tuesday there is the evening “Heimatabend” with German songs and traditional costumes, while Saturday is dedicated to Rock/Indie music. Between Stachus and the central station in Munich, the former “Lola & Ludwig” was transformed into the unique underground club 8 Below. All kinds of interesting utensils were used for the interior design: car tires, prison cells and sometimes quite wicked paintings create the atmosphere of a real, edgy rock club.
The bar of the 8 Below also offers hard whiskeys and vodkas, which are not cheap but are all the finer. Depending on the evening, the guests can expect rock’ n’ roll, indie, punk and sometimes fine electro sound. Further highlights are the live gigs, which take place regularly in the 8 Below. From autumn to June (almost) every Wednesday live concerts under the name 8 Below Bergfest. 8 Below is just a basement disco (up on the table) with long steep stairs, horseshoe-shaped free-standing bar, bordering one Laker bar tables set up, Niesche; and the obligatory slightly elevated stage. The 8 Below Club is very close to the main train station and is thus ideally accessible by public transport. The program changes regularly, so it is advisable to check the official website for up-to-date information.
