A Video of Strom Munich
Strom Munich, Guide & Review
Strom is one of the best music venues in Munich especially when it comes to indie music. It is located specifically at Lindwurmstr 88, where all guests are revealing into great sounds from postpunk, alternative, ska, to electronic music. Entrance on Strom at its price depends upon who’s performing for the evening. There are plenty of affordable drinks to choose as well as bar snacks to nibble on. Musicians who have played and continue playing are those who are now established musicians like LANY, Frank Turner, Niila, Periphery, Alt-J and more indie acts that are just entering the music scene.
They generally have amazing parties with themes (ex: Burlesque, rock etc.). They also have some good bands coming quite often. DJ’s that play electro are pretty cool too. You just have to check out their programs and pick the night that fits the best your expectations. The cocktails prices are alright (8 euros for a long drink). Entrance fee varies, depending on the event. The venue is a bit rough inside and no real places to seat in general. Nevertheless, it is recommended for the good ambiance. Strom hosts many international indie bands! The venue is not too big.
The venue Strom feel like a real rock club. Not huge, by any means. A normal sized rock club where the merchandise stand is located right by the stage. A very good small club in the centre of Munich. The sound was very good quality, the bartenders were quick, the prices were ok. Packed full of amazing music, people and experiences, this is one of the hottest party spots every night of the week. Strom is all about great times with great music and great friends. There’s a completely unique clubbing experience serving up late nights and great music.
