11. Craft and Social
Craft and Social is a contemporary hangout for craft beer, charcuterie & elevated American cafe fare with growlers. Enjoy a wicked experience and friendly service at one of El Paso‘s best restaurants. Craft and Social is ideal for families looking to sample delectable American fare, such as specialty salads. Awesome feeling. An excellent location to get a beer and relax. A good charcuterie platter and a fantastic selection of taps to pick from. A table was full of VHS movies, some of which would take you back in time. The service here is excellent! I adore this location. This is my first visit, but if I lived here, I’d be a regular. The beer was good. The service was excellent. The ambiance was terrific. A welcoming beer bar with light meals. Excellent beer selection and super friendly and helpful personnel.
Furthermore, if you want to watch a random selection of VHS tapes, they have a TV ready to go and a vast collection. I enjoy the Avery beer here! Other pubs didn’t have a good beer selection, but this bar improved my day by having an excellent assortment of craft beers. I was happy to have the opportunity to try something new here! Cute little place. Great stop if you want a draft and some good food to pair with it. We are clear about the drinks available. The drinks are beers, ciders, and ale. If those aren’t for you, they have sodas and water. The menu had charcuterie boards, salads, and sandwiches. The place is small and cozy, so if you like party bar vibes, go elsewhere.
This place is for you if you enjoy a good conversation over food and drinks. Parking is nearby paid lots, or you can find a street park if you find some. Craft and Social is fantastic! The owner, Omar, is very approachable. I had a lot of pleasure conversing with him while eating and drinking beers. The meal is fantastic, and it is clear that everything is produced fresh in-house. The hummus was delicious, and the foghorn sandwich was incredible. There are many taste levels, and the cucumber chips are ideal. So, the craft beer selection is excellent, especially for a tiny establishment. I would revisit this venue the next time I’m in El Paso. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough! If you’re in town, stop by! So, this spot is one of the best in El Paso!
10. Ojos Locos Sports Cantina
Ojos Locos Sports Cantina is a mini-chain of sports bars featuring TV soccer games, Mexican-inspired pub grub & ice-cold beer. You have visited the greatest Latin Sports Cantina in the world; Gringos are also welcome! Please sit back, relax, and enjoy homemade Mexican food and ice-cold Cerveza served by their Chicas Croquetas Y-Bonitas while watching your favorite team play, partying with friends, or dining with family. They provide cutting-edge wall-to-wall HD TVs that broadcast all-day sports. Don’t be shocked by the name Goal; they are passionate about football and are also your headquarters for Boxing, UFC, NFL, NBA, and MLB. They’re not only altering how you watch sports but also changing how you drink beer. The original “Balón” was popularized by Ojos Locos.
It’s simply the most excellent method to drink your Cerveza – DRAFT! Chica Croquetas y Bonitas, 29o ice cold Cerveza, and their giant wall of HD screens make you wonder why you’re still reading about Ojos and not at one of their locations – find a location near you. Ojos Locos opened its first store in Dallas, TX, in 2010. The concept was created to cater to the Latino community, providing you with a comfortable, laid-back sports cantina where you can sit and relax after a long day of work, watch your favorite team play, party with friends, dine with family, and enjoy outgoing and friendly service from one of their chicas croquetas y bonitos. This is an ample space with large tables and booths. The meal is delicious and has a Mexican-American flavor. Its inventive cocktails adhere to the same idea.
The wait staff is excellent, courteous, gorgeous, and knowledgeable about their profession. You should swing by and sit at the bar; you’ll be grateful, especially on a Friday night. Good work, the lady in white lingerie who served us. The service was pleasant despite our three males fighting and talking nonsense about work the whole night. The tacos were delicious, but the Cajun wings were out of this world. I would recommend 10/10. So, Ojos Locos Sports Cantina is one of the best bars El Paso has to offer you, your friends, and your loved ones. If you are in the city, we recommend you to visit this spot at least once! Go with your friends, family, and loved ones to have a memorable and fun time. Hence, this is a great venue to watch sports.
9. Iron Horse Saloon
Iron Horse Saloon is a welcoming drinking place with a welcoming environment. Every Wednesday and Saturday, they host Karaoke. There are three pool tables, two dart boards, an online jukebox, and daily drink deals—a locally friendly Northeast neighborhood tavern with good beer and liquor prices and daily drink specials. Three pool tables, three dart boards, an online jukebox, live bands, and Karaoke are all available.
Parking lot with cameras that are well-lit. On Sundays, there is free food till it is gone. On Mondays and Thursdays, two pool tables are available all day—the back terrace for smoking. On Saturdays and Sundays during football season, we open at 11:00 a.m. Newly refurbished and managed by a new owner. Come in and have a look for yourself. It was founded in 1997.
This establishment is renowned as a “Biker Bar,” but today, anybody and everyone may enjoy themselves. Excellent spot for some peace! No rowdy, disrespectful people! Occasional live music is excellent! Good people with strong American Values, many vets! Love it! I could imagine this place being nice, especially since they have a great atmosphere when you first walk in. I’m thrilled that Iron Horse survived COVID.
This pub is well-known among the EP community—a cozy spot for a beer with friends or an intimate night with a loved one. Adrien, the bartender, is constantly on his game and never leaves a glass empty. Very mellow laid back atmosphere. I love hanging out with my friends, great prices, and specials. Amazing staff!!! No smoking inside despite what other reviewers stated.
Great staff, excellent drinks. Always felt welcomed—definitely a good hangout for locals. Every day brings a different crowd. Biker-centric yet not focused. Some live bands rock the house, and the jukebox is always grooving. You might not appreciate the place if you are snobby, stuck up, and don’t know how to get to know the locals. This place is fantastic and laid back, but everyone seems to treat you like family when you walk in.
They had a cover band when I went on a Saturday; I don’t remember the name, but they were pretty good. The drinks were cheap, too, Cuervo was $2 a shot, and it was a total shot! I love playing pool; they have three tables, so I liked that. The Owner (Linda) was pretty cool, too. She played pool with us and drank most of the night.
8. Charcoaler Drive-In
Charcoaler Drive-In has excellent food, a new building, a little bar, and outdoor activities. Very cool and unique place. The best dishes are nicely cooked hamburgers, chili cheese fries, and onion strings. Following the visitors’ opinions, waiters serve good cherry pie here. This restaurant has good lemonade among its drinks.
The efficient staff works well, stays positive, and makes this place remarkable. So, if you wish to enjoy excellent service, you should visit Charcoaler Drive-in. Growing up with charcoal-grilled hamburgers as one of my favorite dishes, I was surprised to encounter these Oklahoma-style burgers in Sun City. The Charcoaler Drive-In serves this style of flame-broiled hamburger for a reason.
The family that started the business came from Oklahoma and enjoyed the charcoal burgers so much that they wished to share them with the people of El Paso. There was a second facility on Montana Avenue near the airport, but only the Mesa Street location exists now. Charcoaler is a traditional 1960s-style drive-in, with diners pulling up to a speaker to order and then picking up their meal at a huge window.
Customers can eat meals in their cars or take them somewhere, but no tables are available. On a sunny day, a vast grassy space in the middle can entice a picnic, but this setup is mainly intended for individuals who are in a hurry and don’t mind dining in the car. Of course, the specialty is hamburgers. The critical decision will be whether to have a single or double burger and whatever toppings to add.
The beef is cooked over a flame for the “flame-broiled” flavor, and the patties come out medium well. Very little fat remains in the meat, so I prefer these hamburgers to fried ones. The hickory smoke sauce was made famous by the Split-T in Oklahoma City.
It was used on the iconic flame-broiled burgers I first had. It’s called “barbecue sauce” at Charcoaler, and while I don’t believe it’s as good as the one at Charcoaler, it’s still how I order the hamburgers. Hot dogs and french fries are also offered. The Milk Shake is delicious, but it takes a while to melt.
The hamburgers at Charcoaler Drive-In aren’t nearly as good as the ones at the Split-T, but they’re better than most in El Paso. Even if someone ordered these burgers with mustard or mayonnaise, I believe it would be one of the most fantastic hamburgers in town.
7. Hope and Anchor
Hope and Anchor is a welcoming hangout that serves beer, wine, and cocktails and has a large, lantern-adorned outside terrace. Enjoy your dining experience at Hope & Anchor! Sabertooth serves excellent meals as well as your favorite drinks! This semi-dive just north of downtown El Paso is a homey setting with one of the most excellent patios in the city with views of the Franklin Mountains.
The beverages fulfill the holy trinity of being cheap, strong, and massive, and the staff is always kind. If you enjoy this potent libation, check out their ‘Tequila Tuesday.’ Excellent craft beer variety. If they don’t have the precise beer or kind you’re searching for, bartenders are experienced and can give a highly equivalent substitute.
It’s always a good time whether you come in a vast group or with a handful of buddies. Some people complained about the absence of table service. Go to a restaurant if you want table service. When visiting a pub, you should place your order at the bar. They are not TABLEtenders, but BARtenders.
This Saturday at lunch hour, I had a terrific time. The meal is delicious, and the beer variety is never disappointing. I came with my family, and our waiter Gina kept us pleased despite the fact that the terrace was full. They are both kid and dog friendly before 7 pm. This inviting hangout serves beer, wine, and cocktails with a spacious, lantern-adorned outside terrace.
They are both kid and dog friendly before 7 pm. I will most certainly return! It was enjoyable. It was chilly. I went on Saturday at 5 pm, so there weren’t so many people. I liked that the patio area looked relaxing; The prices were very nice. The mixed drinks were delicious.
Nice experience. When I go out, I prefer to be able to talk to people and listen to music. Thank God for Hope and Anchor. Many bars prefer to blast music to harm your eardrums somewhat, but whether you’re inside or outside, the music is at a pleasant level for you to vibe and speak.
The staff is fantastic and caring, plus there are exciting theme days to engage in. So, Hope and Anchor is one of the best bars in El Paso! If you are in the city, we highly recommend you visit this spot at least once. Go with your friends, family, and loved ones for a memorable time.

5. Later, Later
Later, Later is a cozy rustic-chic bar open late, with brick walls & living room furniture, movie nights & TV sports. J & K Present’s dynamic combination has done it again. Later, Later at the Union Plaza, El Paso’s newest, most chill Downtown hot place, is the latest venture of Johnny Escalante and Kiki Cervantes.
They also organized events like “The Morning After Brunch” and “Foam Wonderland.” Later, Later is a neighborhood public house located steps from Southwest University BallPark, the Union Depot district, and many other entertainment venues in the heart of downtown El Paso. Great staff, different vibes every night. The building looks like a house from the outside. Inside feels more like a renovated beach house. Follow their Instagram for specials.
I liked the environment and the scenery around. Capacity is a little limited and sometimes crowded. Drinks have somewhat fair prices but are an excellent place to hang out on a weekend night with a friend or spouse. It’s a great place. If only the workers looked and acted like they wanted to be there, would it make this a 5-star rating?
Due to a lack of this, the bartender’s service is not on par with the atmosphere and looks of the bar. It’s very inviting and a great place to take a lady friend. Then you get to the bartender and feel them not wanting to be there. Or too involved with their friends. Service makes or breaks a place. Later Later is a contemporary evening to the late-night bar that allows visitors to chill and relax.
The atmosphere within the bar is full of energy, and the staff respects you with a humble nature, treating you almost like family. For frequent visitors, Later Later is a fun place to be. It’s large, comfortable, and has fantastic recommendations on the cocktail flavors to indulge in.
Their best cocktails range between $9 to $7. Worst Behaviour, a Bombay sapphire gin mixed with orange juice and an excellent strawberry cocktail, is the most beloved drink from this bar. Additionally, their Later Later Water made of topo chico, espolon tequila, lime, sugar, and salt also tops the list of customers’ favorites. So, Later, Later is one of the best bars in El Paso. It boasts of being a neighborhood bar. If you are in the city, we recommend you to visit this spot at least once!
4. Dewey’s Corner Pub
At Dewey’s Corner Pub, Central El Paso Nightlife comes to a fun level with the blend of the bar by day and energetic nightlife by night. Having seen San Jacinto Plaza, it’s time to have a rest at this bar. Dewey’s Corner Pub offers you to try perfectly cooked kare-kare. A lot of visitors order a delicious beer.
The welcoming ambiance of this venue allows customers to unwind and enjoy themselves. This location is suggested for qualified personnel. These restaurant owners are concerned about providing excellent service. Prices at this bar are worth attention because they’re good. The designer created a cute decor. Dewey’s, you’re super cool. Different from the other bars next door, but you compliment the strip very well.
If you’re thinking about checking this place out, I implore you to follow our lead and do a bar crawl starting at 1/8 and ending at Dewey’s so you can get some eats in before. So we checked out Dewey’s last, and walking in was a good idea since they take the pub in a very literal sense and don’t appear to have any food (I’m okay with this).
As all the bars on this block are, Dewey’s is pretty small, but it’s pretty long so that you could fit a lot of bodies in here. They had The Red Headed Sluts on special, so we did a few rounds of that. If you’ve never had one, they’re lovely. VERY. Their specials change from day to day so check the chalkboard. When we first got there, they played a lot of 5-10-year-old pop, but around 10 o’clock, they had a DJ.
I liked the music they were playing before (not to say the DJ wasn’t playing good music), so if I had to guess, it’s probably less of a chill vibe and more of a dance place on the weekends. The most significant appeal to me was the bartender’s show. These guys flip bottles like nobody’s business.
They even had a few choreographed tricks. They’re crowd pleasers and very friendly. Even the manager is fun and isn’t afraid to get out there and dance. Dewey’s Corner Pub, located adjacent to Coconuts, is one of El Paso’s most famous watering establishments. Come for open mic night to hear the most incredible new comics in the border region. The bartenders and customers are as polite and welcoming as in any other restaurant in this lovely city.
3. Tin Man
Unique craft beers are poured in a funky space with vibrant art, growler fills & branded apparel. This pub provides a friendly setting for informal socializing in addition to the outstanding circulating variety of craft beers Tinman is known for. I’ve ridden my bike here several times, giving it the “neighborhood bar” vibe.
A significant benefit is that the toilets are pretty clean, which I greatly enjoy for the comfort and convenience of both men and women. Even though we just had one drink, it was a pleasant touch to be provided water as we were leaving. I’ve been a long-time customer of Tim man’s; great choice of beers yesterday. A great small spot for a drink. Their beer collection is rather extensive, with over 30 beers available, some of which are only available here.
Despite its tiny size, it is hardly overcrowded. Depending on how busy the bartenders are, they will happily assist you in selecting a beer and offer you samples. Loses points for having terrible seats and not updating their social media often, and you may miss out on their deals.
They currently do an excellent job of keeping social media up to date. All the Tin Man locations are great venues for allowing you to experience a wide variety of fantastic craft beers. But if we had to choose, I’d pick the George Dieter location. Not only does it boast a fantastic interior, but it also has the most amazing little patio that has become our go-to spot. The atmosphere is fantastic after a hard day of work.
To relax and chill. No one is pushy and feels like you own the place. Excelente lugar, inclusive con hijos. If you are searching for an excellent take on a craft beer-based establishment, stop by this tiny bar with a lot of heart. We promptly got greeted and helped with our drinks, and I downed a pineapple cider whose name I can’t recall, and my fiancé got the blueberry one.
On Thursdays, they have fantastic specials, fill one growler and get one for a penny! ( limits apply, of course) One of the best places in El Paso, if you’re looking for a good time and some delicious drinks, is the place to go. They have something for everyone, and it’s just a vibe when entering the place. Trust me when I say you won’t find anything better than here for drinks with your friends
2. Happy’s Barley & Vine
Happy’s Barley & Vine has a beer Tap Room, Craft Cocktails, and Wine Bar stocking 35+ taps, an excellent liquor selection, and fantastic wine by the bottle and the glass. When you combine that with a friendly atmosphere, you would think you were dreaming – or they are geniuses – and both are far from the truth.
They take great satisfaction in maintaining the highest cleanliness and hygiene standards. They have upped the frequency with which the bar and toilets are cleaned. We’re making use of hospital-grade disinfectants. So, they have increased the availability of antibacterial hand sanitizers and wipes around the campus. Their employees are regularly updated on their safety practices. They are El Paso’s top Craft Beer, Wine, and Cocktail Bar.
They offer a superb variety of rotating regional and national draught beers and an unrivaled range of wines from around the world. Their Craft Beer focuses on exceptional local beers and famous regional/national brand brews. Happy’s wine list is a fantastic blend of the finest of the best from across the world.
They attempted to cover all of their clients’ bases. Happy’s is a “BYOF” establishment, so feel free to bring your food, cater, or order from one of the Substation eateries. They are located in El Paso’s upper valley on the corner of Doniphan and Sunset. Parking is complimentary, so come and be a part of El Paso history. Cheers! Get your drink on! Most importantly, be joyful! Their narrative begins with a regular four-person gang. All of whom are passionate about beer, its culture, and wine.
They recognize and are interested in the effects of history and culture on lifestyle and culture. They adore beer and wine because they bring people together to live and appreciate each other in the present moment, followed by joyful moments and good memories.
Although the four men came from four very diverse professions, they form a unique group of entrepreneurs, and while their journeys may have been highly varied, the basis for all is nearly the same.
As the crow flies, they are a mixed bowl of intractably opposed extremes, but the fact is that they are all the same at their core, and the balance between the four is flawless. Three of the four buddies had known each other since they were in diapers. So the trip begins. There will be happy times ahead. Therefore, Happy’s Barley & Vine is one of the best!
1. The RockIn’ Bar
The RockIn’ Bar is El Paso’s most incredible dive bar! The venue was newly opened with live music, DJs, a fantastic happy hour, and the most excellent bartenders! On Sundays, they provide complimentary meals as well as food trucks. It offers NFL tickets to cheer on your favorite team, a jukebox to listen to your favorite music, and a pool table and darts to get competitive.
Go check them out and make them your new favorite neighborhood hangout. They are ready to rock El Paso to the core!!! Live music/jams. NFL Sunday Ticket. Cool libations. Draft selection. Best damn bartenders!! Dyer Maker of dive bars!! The best dive bar in El Paso! Opened in late 2021, they are making noise in their first year! They are the place to meet with friends after work, unwind on the weekends, and celebrate your special occasion.
Make some new friends while you hang out listening to live music. Sally, the proprietor, is an El Paso native with extensive bartending expertise. She was a long-term Marriott employee in food and beverage, greeting many visitors to the region. She is the youngest of three children reared by a dedicated single mother who instilled the work ethic she possesses today.
She lived in Fort Worth for a brief time before returning in 2018 to be closer to her family. She continued to work for Marriott in Fort Worth, teaching, overseeing, and mentoring new staff. She had always wanted to operate her bar. She made her jump just as the epidemic halted everything. She finally launched her bar at 3315 Dyer in 2021.
Her hard work and commitment are evident here. She invites you to her pub to listen to live music and buy her a Jägerbomb or a Fernet! This is a fantastic tiny dive bar! I’m delighted I found it when I was in town. They have fantastic beer discounts and plenty of televisions. I can’t wait to return and listen to some live music when they have bands. Nice dive bar with fantastic live music. Clean and safe. Draft beer is nice and cold, with excellent selections: good drinks, great specials, and friendly staff. The owner is welcoming, bubbly, and shows hospitality. I frequent here for the safe, friendly atmosphere—an excellent local business to support. So, The RockIn’ Bar is one of El Paso’s best bars. We highly recommend this venue. Go with your friends, family, and loved ones.
