The Best Places to go Clubbing in Wellington
Red Square
Red Square is a place in Wellington that you can dance all night long. Wit
its large ornaments and distorted lighting, the beautiful club is known for its
contagious shape and good DJs arrangement.
If you need a quick breath,
order some of their signature cocktails and sit in deep leather booths for
other viewers. The frozen bar is another fun thing to look at – local culture
requires enthusiasts to leave their handwriting on top.
Establishment
Being one of Wellington’s most popular nightclubs, The Establishment is
prolifically known for its eclectic event calendar as well as an impressive DJ
list.
As well as being one of the few places in the city that will be open until
4 am, Establishment offers the least of everything for everyone: there is a
tequila bar, a large bar, a restaurant and a lounge – all with their unique
sound systems.
Good Luck
Good luck is an infamous underground bar on Cuba Street known for its
vast cocktail menu and interesting variations between its private living room
and dynamic dance floor.
Legend has it that the bar was once the Chinese
Opium Den, and its intricate ornaments add to the rumours. The music is
on the opposite side, but there is a lot of power to keep the club’s
passengers pumping.
Laundry
Laundry is a clubber club hosting everything from Latin Nights to some of
the best DJs in the booth. All week you can expect the variety to be the
name of the game in their offerings, but when the weekend is around, it’s
time to dance – and what a time this is.
Located on Cuba Street, where the
action is taking place, this is one of the most challenging things in town –
especially if you follow electronica, as there are so many people playing at
night. Get to it.
Danger Danger
Danger Danger is located in the capital city of New Zealand. The nightclub
is home to one of the best pizza menus in the region, filled with its alcoholic
beverage collection.
It exudes an old vibe with its back-to-back interiors
and elements perfect for a night of fun and entertainment. They have DJs
who chase the crowd six straight days a week, in addition to live bar
entertainment regularly. The nightclub was previously called Electric Avenue.
Valhalla
This unique cool bar lies just around the corner from the mainline. Valhalla
is not your usual bar – it features a theme full of Viking – and offers a great
place to relax and breathe while enjoying live music and DJs.
It is also true
within a terrific distance of the best breakfast you have to have nearby, too,
if you are likely to sneeze for an hour.
Minibar
Minibar is another hip night nightclub open until 4 am and offers many
musical activities to keep all content at will.
This place is guaranteed to
have all the ingredients for a great night out, from dance parties to theme
parties and fun dance nights. They offer a lot of drinking deals to
complement any planned event.
San Fran
San Fran has a strong reputation for live music, including regular
performances by some of the leading DJs coming to Wellington. Their gig
calendar consists of comedy nights, rock music, techno bands, and a ton of
dance that blew dance music to stand out.
Sassy Loves Cash
Sassy Loves Cash provides a great place to enjoy a day of chatting and
having fun with friends. The nightclub is located at Courtenay Place in
Wellington, New Zealand.
Located away from the hustle and bustle of the
city, with its beautiful and intricate decoration, the setting creates an
atmosphere of intense activity without having to worry about crowded
places.
It is a shopping mall that offers wines, spirits, and cocktails fully
integrated at an affordable price.
D4
D4 for Allen is a popular nightclub in Wellington, New Zealand. The club is
located in Courtenay’s Place, offering an excellent selection of fine wine
and beer. They have 18 tap beers, a lovely tapa menu and an inviting
atmosphere that welcomes guests and sponsors.
D4 accepts local rental
opportunities for all occasions and events. They present a thrilling scene for
guests from Tuesday to Saturday where their live DJ pulls the crowd. The
nightclub also has live sports events and offers beats and powerful sounds.
Ivy Bar & Cabaret

the excavated basement of the old James Smith department store door to get to Ivy Bar & Cabaret.

To
tempt you, there is plenty of great alcohol and cocktail treat to satisfy your
satanic desires and to please your taste buds. The vibe is ready to mix and
match, and then dance casually until late at night.
Scotty & Malcolm
A great gay cocktail with a lounge with surroundings, cedar walls, and
Egyptian stone stones to set the mood. It is owned and operated by a
couple, Scotty and Malcolm, who played a significant role in the gay
community of Wellington over the past few decades and have opened
various queer clubs and bars in the past.
S&M is a great place to relax and
enjoy gin and tonic, beer, fine wine, or a nice cocktail – perfect for great
music, good company, and great staff taking care of you.
